Education as a Pathway to Leadership

We recognize that higher education plays an important role in developing professionals and leaders who will contribute to building the Fort Belknap Indian Community nation.

All FBIC Tribal Members who enroll full-time in an institute of higher education are encouraged to apply for financial support through the ANCF scholarship program.

ANCF Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:

Must be an enrolled member of Fort Belknap tribes and able to provide proof.
Must be enrolled in Undergraduate, full-time or part-time in an institute of higher education. Trade school attendees and graduates also welcome to apply.
Must provide documentation showing acceptance by a qualified institute of higher education and class schedule showing full-time enrollment.
Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Please send your completed application no later than August 4th, 2025.

It is crucial for applicants to submit all documents on time for consideration for future funding.

Applicants may apply year-over-year.

Completed applications should be emailed to diana.bigby@islandmtn.com or dropped off at 353 Old Hays Rd, Hays, MT 59527.
