CIRCLE OF GIVING

Increasing the gifts of sharing and generosity — The traditions of giving and receiving have been embedded in Native culture for millennia. Gifts create bonds between people and generations. Today, the circle of giving has expanded to include a culture of philanthropy, where we ask ourselves and we ask each other, “how are you paying it forward?”

ANCF advances the investment in the FBIC through:

Advocacy

Supporting individuals and non-profits that work to improve the FBIC.

Education

Building a culture of philanthropy rooted in traditional Native values.

Connecting

Identifying outside philanthropic organizations which may have financial and professional resources to support larger projects on the FBIC

Stewardship

Responsibility and accountability are inherent in grantmaking and in grant receiving.
